Information About me:
I am a graduate of the Flatiron School Software Engineer program where I spent over 20 challenging weeks, learning to think and build, like software engineers — from developing coding proficiency to gaining an understanding of how products are designed and managed. I developed many key skills through interactive test-driven labs, close collaboration, and showcasing progress through Portfolio Projects.

Full Stack Web Developer - Flatiron School
- Designed, developed, and deployed custom software and database applications in an agile development environment.
- Used JavaScript, React, HTML, & CSS to build out visualization and user-facing portions of web applications and used Ruby and Ruby on Rails to create infrastructure and databases.
- Member of product teams supporting teammates and collaborating with a do what it takes attitude to ensure product and team success.
2019 - 2022
Payroll Supervisor - Mountaire Farms Inc.
- Supervised payroll staff to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing of over 5000 employees.
- Performed periodic assessments of labor rates and made recommendations to the Controller that reduced labor cost by 2%.
- Provided support for audits conducted by both internal and external stakeholders.
2016 - 2019
Human Resource & Payroll Administrator - Union Corrugating Company
- Managed workflow to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for over 500 employees, including reconciliation of payroll transactions prior to final transmission.
- Oversaw onboarding for all new hires.
- Managed Worker’s Compensation and disability claims. Provided necessary costing metrics to the Finance team for forecasting.
- Conducted quarterly audits of all payroll records and reconciled general ledger regarding all payroll transactions.

Fort Bragg Fed. Credit Union - Supervisory Committee, Chair
- Enhanced the checks and balances required to ensure full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Reviewed operational and financial proposals submitted by managers and department heads for approval from the Board of Directors.
- Hired and worked closely with external auditors to ensure a thorough annual audit of records and operations are conducted, including verification of member loans and share accounts.

- Analyzed departmental budget and reports to monitor expenditure, analyze trends, and suggest adjustments to executives.
